How to Use Smart Objects in Photoshop

In this video tutorial, I will show you how to use the Adobe Photoshop Smart Object Layer. This feature is extremely handy because all the work is already done for you. All you have to do is just insert the image of your choice, hit save, and voila, your desired image will pop up on the stock photo.

This only works if you have a layered PSD file where the designer has done the work for you and created it utilizing the Smart Objects feature. In my stock photography store (flatlaystudio.com), I am adding this feature to all my tech and photo frame images. This is a great feature not only for simple square layouts, but also eliminates the finagling that you have to do to rotate or skew any images where the tech devices are not square but on an angle.

Check out my quick tutorial here on how to apply this feature.
