Photoshop Tutorial: How to Change Eye Colour

In this Photoshop video tutorial, I will show you how to change eye colour in Photoshop without the use of creating a mask or using the magic wand to isolate the eyes. I will show you how on Emma Watson, a natural brown eyed beauty.

  1. Create a duplicate layer. This is good incase you make a mistake and don’t want to revert. And also good if you want to change the eye colour later on.
  2. Pick a colour.
  3. Go to the brush tool. Make sure that under brush settings/ shape dynamics / size jitter and minimum diameter is set to 100% as well as smoothing is checked.
  4. Under brush mode at the top, select color as the mode and make the opacity anywhere between 40 – 60%.
  5. COLOUR!
  6. To make the edges no look so hard, use the blur tool at 50% strength around the edges.
